Hong Kong Cheongsam Making Technique is an important intangible cultural heritage (ICH) of Hong Kong. It has been
inscribed onto the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of China in 2021.
Funded by the Intangible Cultural Heritage Funding Scheme of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Office of LCSD, School of
Fashion and Textiles of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University is organizing this research seminar to present and discuss
the history, the making technique and craftsmanship, and the development of the transmission of the ICH from diverse
