Narrative Embellishments
12.06.2009 – 10.07.2009
Introduction | 展覽介紹
Clothing is not only used as a protection against the natural elements, but it is also used as a form of language. The wearer is often able to express his or her personality, mood and status to the viewer by using clothes as the 'key' to the emoting of this non-verbal language. In Narrative Embellishments, the practitioner explores and experiments with a contrast of high technology and traditional embellishment techniques to create a collection of narrative fashion which is inspired by women's roles in contemporary society.
